ISAC operates in the Industrial Automation sector, a sector that supplies mechatronic components (electromechanical, electronic, and IT) to automate production processes in plants and machinery. The company has been designing and manufacturing Industrial Automation components since 1994, specifically designing Numerical Controls for Automatic Machine Tools, which are used in the processing of various materials. The products' fields of application are extremely diverse:
- Industrial process automation;
- Automation of machine tools for manufacturing production.
The company conducts Research & Development activities, dedicates its staff to projects for the design and renewal of its products and is specializing in increasingly intangible products for which the initial project cost is increasingly high.
Under these conditions, managing corporate security is becoming increasingly complex, and for this reason, ISAC is investing in cybersecurity consulting services to introduce the company's expertise and tools to develop industrial automation tools that meet cybersecurity requirements.
The project involves the purchase of software tools for static code analysis and the identification of program criticalities from an IT security perspective.
