Research and Development Department
The Research and Development department is responsible for keeping ISAC products up to date and ensuring the company's competitive advantage. Development involves highly integrated software, firmware, and hardware components. The challenges addressed include automatic control, operations research, numerical computation, and the implementation of hardware interfaces and communication protocols. Software components often have real-time and mission-critical execution characteristics, which profoundly influences modeling, programming, and verification methods. Some components are portable across various operating systems. Activities are governed by the company's quality management system with clear rules and AGILE criteria.
The research and development department includes the following profiles:
Real-time programmer
This figure creates and maintains the basic components of ISAC products such as:
- The communication stacks for the various implemented protocols, the configurators and the associated diagnosis and configuration systems;
- Automatic control components, their execution and the tools for their programming;
- The motion control and path components of the trajectory.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of C and/or C++ languages
- Knowledge of servo-regulation tools
- Knowledge of electronic components for automation
- Interest in developments in applied mathematics and/or operations research algorithms
- Knowledge of spoken and written English
Embedded designer
This role creates and maintains code execution environments. They therefore maintain the operating systems, programming interfaces, and component libraries used to build products. They explore different solutions and verify compatibility with new hardware systems. They create and execute profiling tests and maintain the verification environments and tools.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of C and C++ languages
- Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems (especially Linux and Windows CE)
- Knowledge of x86 or ARM processor architecture or knowledge of microcontrollers
- Real-Time Control (PLC) programming skills
- Knowledge of spoken and written English
HMI Designer
This position develops and maintains the ISAC product components that provide a user interface. For programmable interfaces, they also develop and maintain the development environments. They also develop the products that include application simulation and verification environments.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of C# or Java language
- Knowledge of C++ language
- Knowledge of communication and networking networks
- Knowledge of spoken and written English
Support Department
Support engineer
Requirements:
- Knowledge of PC hardware and software environment
- Basic elements of metrology and statistical analysis
- Basic knowledge of PLC logic
- Basic knowledge of servo regulation
- Knowledge of the most common electronic circuits or components
- Basic knowledge of the fundamental components for industrial automation (motors, servomotors, measurement systems, inverters, PLCs, electrical panels, industrial electrical systems, electromechanical components, pneumatic components)
- Knowledge of machine tools and automation systems
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings at the assembly level
- Ability to interpret electrical and electronic drawings
- Knowledge of spoken and written English

Application engineer
Requirements:
- Knowledge of programming using a dot.net environment for operator interface (HMI)
- PLC motion control programming using IEC61131 languages
- CNC programming in ISO language
