Only a portion of the hardware resources is dedicated to Costantino; the remainder allow for the execution of the dedicated operator interface, the on-board CAM programming software, and the integrated simulator.
The CPU models feature low-power, high-performance, and highly available processors with Intel Celeron, i3, i5, and i7 architecture.
All CPUs are powered by 24 VDC, have graphics acceleration capabilities, and solid-state components for mass storage. They include the IoT operating system, which is write-protected and protected from constant updates, with extended life support. They have an EtherCAT port, an Ethernet port for connection to the factory network, and a second Ethernet port for programming or connecting to other IP devices.
The central units have mounting templates for panel bottoms or DIN rails, and can be connected to operator panels up to 30 meters away. All connections are on one side and easily accessible.
